Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz)

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) serves as the State of California’s leader for job growth, economic development, and business assistance efforts. Its teams are comprised of experts that span industries, geographies and business backgrounds. It offers a range of no-cost consultation services to business owners including: attraction, retention and expansion services, site selection, permit assistance, regulatory guidance, small business assistance, international trade development, assistance with state government, and much more.

Orange County Public Libraries

The Orange County Public Libraries provides a broad selection of print and non-print materials; research database; online services and public access to computers and internet to the general public to include business owners.

SCORE

SCORE is a national nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. It has been doing this for more than 50 years. It offers services at no charge or at a very low cost. Find out more about SCORE can help you.

Orange County Business Solutions

The Orange County Workforce and Economic Development Division has a variety of Business Solutions offerings designed for the creation and retention of employment for Orange County businesses of any size, at every stage of the business cycle. When creating positions, Business Solutions offerings include assistance with filling jobs including customized recruitment support, job fairs, and hiring events. A variety of training programs are available for work-based learning opportunities including On-the-Job (OJT) training, registered apprenticeship development, and work experience programs. We also provide assistance with layoff aversion, WARN support, LMI data, and incentive programs. All Business Solutions services are provided at no cost.

Orange County Small Business Administration

The Orange County SBDC delivers solutions and opportunities for every small business to succeed. Our vision is to be the sought after resource for small business. Since 1991, the Orange County SBDC has helped in stimulating economic growth within the local communities by providing entrepreneurs and small business owners with the necessary resources to succeed. It continue to assists clients across the county and offers no-cost consulting, a wide variety of workshops, training programs, and network-wide access to resources will help your business start, grow and succeed!

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.
