OC VETERANS'
EMPLOYMENT-RELATED ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (VEAP)

Provides Free Training, Career Services, Supportive Services and Job Placement for recently separated or near-term separation military members.

Veteran Job Seekers

You may be eligible for VEAP if you are:

Unemployed for 27 weeks in the past 12 months
Experiencing one or more barriers to employment
An active duty military person who is 180 days from separation
Formerly incarcerated or justice involved Veterans
A low-income Veteran
A Veteran with a disabling condition
A Veteran experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness
Exposed to a history of trauma/ experiencing emotional distress

OUTREACH PROGRAM

Free for Orange County Veterans of all branches and ages, regardless of discharge status.

U.S.VETS has expanded its services in Orange County to provide peer support and outreach to veterans experiencing social isolation.

The Peer Support & Outreach team members are here to support veterans in the following areas:

Social Engagement Sessions
Linkage to Resources, including mental health, case management, employment, and women’s programs
Suicide Risk Assessment
Virtual Mental Health Seminars
Technical Assistance with Accessing Virtual Platforms
